Grants

The Abe Keller Peace Education Fund has been awarding small grants in the Puget Sound region since 2000. Grants are approved at regular Board meetings based on the criteria listed below. As an all-volunteer organization, we attempt to be flexible and responsive in our grant-making process. Any individual or group may seek financial assistance for a peace or justice education project. The Board may also solicit proposals consistent with its peace and justice education objectives.

Grant Guidelines

The Abe Keller Peace Education Fund has been awarding small grants in the Puget Sound region since 2000. Grants are approved at regular Board meetings based on the criteria listed below. As an all-volunteer organization, we attempt to be flexible and responsive in our grant-making process. Commitments are usually for one year. Most of our grants are for $2,000 or less.

Apply for a Grant

Any individual or group may seek financial assistance for a peace or justice education project. The Board may also solicit proposals consistent with its peace and justice education objectives.

Previous Recipients

We have given grants to a wide range of activities and programs that embrace the goals of the Abe Keller Fund, including music, drama, and arts projects; public education programs, events and demonstrations; educational activities such as scholarships, curriculum development, internships, courses, and camp programs.
